Creating Connection

working with nature for body, beauty, mind and soul

Being there for each other

Products, guidance and workshops to support and inspire the way we journey through life transitions

My own experience of accompanying loved ones as they journey through the end of life transition has shown me the pain of loss of connection, and the beauty of connections enhanced with compassionate and tender care.

Since my mother’s death in 2014, I have been crafting items that can help everyone in different ways as the end draws near.

Some of these products are conduits for the living for connection, for goodbyes and for remembrance, while others are used in caring for the body after death. They’ve been used in homes, hospitals, hospices and funeral homes.

The years have passed and now many people have used these products to care for a loved one, and others have bought them to put aside for their family to use to care for them when the time comes. They’ve been used by families, friends, hospice and rest home staff, funeral directors, and the dying themselves.

All of the plant essences are made from plants growing organically in my healing garden. Every ingredient is chosen for its symbolism and traditional use, as well as other qualities like aroma. You can read about them in the accompanying blog posts and videos.

The way you have cared for family and friends at the end of life by gently linking them to nature has been profound. As a nurse I have seen just how special it is for everyone in the room and I love your anointing oils and essences.

In creating these products you have given us beautiful ways to care for our loved one’s. And you’ve reminded me that we are all just a little bit magic

I can’t explain it, but I took some drops of Holding Space and then got through three phone calls without crying

I really wanted to let you know how much support the beautiful essences, oils and the body wash I ordered from you brought to the process of caring for my mum as she died. I had a beautiful ceramic bowl of warm water with a few drops of your essential oil and I would use that as way of entering and leaving the space. After she died we gentwashed and anointed her. It was all so graceful and sacred, and your plant medicine played a very meaningful role in creating - and holding that.
